THE PITCHMAN AND THE STORYTELLER

Well, tonight was entertaining, …and confusing.

What a night it was. Both candidates changing the subjects, never directly answering the questions. False statistics. Feigned disagreements. The media likened them to “Two roughnecks fighting.” More like two “cream-puffs” continuing to lie and be evasive.

Let me tell you, the reason people don’t like or trust their elected representatives anymore: ’cause the government is allowing our big businesses to give the good American jobs to any country in the world, that will work for cheap wages.

Cheap wages produce high corporate profits, don’t they? The major shareholders are making a killing. Hey, our people are suffering and our country is going broke because of this kind of selfish thinking. Let me tell you, in fact, it’s bad business to have this kind of discontent throughout our country.

No, they [the contenders] stand before you now to simply gain the ‘power’ and to use that power for their own selfish special interests. Listen to what they’ve said tonight and how they said it and you’ll hear the shocking truth that’s mixed into their politics and hidden by their double-speak.

And, why don’t we notice that Obama proudly proclaims that his party has raised over 1 BILLION DOLLARS to get re-elected. Now, why would you do that for a job that only pays $400,000 per year. Doesn’t that suggest that a billion dollar war chest is expected to take care of the special interests that contributed to it. By the way, Romney is not far behind with his donations.

They’re two pigs wanting to get at the same trough. Do they care, or even notice, the people of this country? Absolutely not!

These candidates, and their parties, have merged. There is not a difference between them. I think we’ve become a nation ruled by one authoritarian party.

When I [Billy] was “invented” in 1993, the situations and dilemmas were almost the same as they currently are. The story of Billy and his rise to power is as fresh as today.

Please get the book A-B-C by Steven J. Conners and see what most probably can/will happen to this country and the world if we allow it.

Next time I’m going to be elected. —Billy
